Q. Why devon?

A. Boy, Tough question...whose idea was this anyway...sales is not my strong suit in life. I have tried many times and proven that it is just not who I am.
First, I believe that to choose me to capture your day requires you to see and connect with my photos here on this site. If you can appreciate the type of shots I take then you are definitely someone I would like to speak with.
Secondly, I like to shoot an engagement session with every bride and groom. This is how we get to know each other better, not only in creating great photos of you as a couple before the wedding, but also you will get a chance to see how I interact with you as a couple.

Q. How many photos will you take on our wedding day?

A. There is no limit to the amount of photos that I shoot on your wedding day.

Q. Do you use a list when shooting?

A. I fully understand that not only the bride and groom but also the parents of both have certain shots that they would like to get during the course of the day. And in the course of meeting with you we will talk about those shots. After all, what would a family event be without a great photo with Uncle Harry in it...lol. However, I do not take a list of all the required shots to any of my weddings. I spend a lot of the day capturing all of those unique moments, many times from a distance. The shots that you and your family want I make sure to capture through out the day along with shots that no one expects.

Q. How many photos will we end up with? Do you guarantee a certain amount of shots?

A. I do not guarantee a certain number of shots. Because once I have made a guarantee, then in my mind all day I am worried about or am chasing a number. I am there to capture moments that will never happen again and that will live on for generations. I believe that every bride and groom in the end would much rather have me capture those incredible moments than shooting everything and anything just to hit a certain number of shots. There tends to be between 600-800 final images from your day.

Q. What do we have to do to book you and save the date?

A. Just like almost every other professional in the wedding business, I require a signed contract and deposit for me to block the date on the calendar. The deposit is non refundable because once you have signed a contract and paid the deposit I no longer book anything for that day. I require a deposit of 50% of the total price to book your date.

Q. Will I receive an album by booking you?

A. An album is not included when booking me but can be purchased a la carte or as part of a package. I have many options for you to choose from when selecting an album. My albums are uniquely designed for you and include high quality album cover choices.
